This secondary residence near the sea was designed for an Israeli entrepreneur and Columbian business woman, a couple with grown up kids.
The duplex was planed as two separate apartments/worlds, in order to allow a total privacy between the owners and their guests in the lower floor. The main floor, a white cube that opens up directly to the sea-view, allows the user to value the space and the penetration of the external world in to the room.
The geometric light strips emphasize and directs the view to the grand openings while directing the user towards the main vertical element – the geometrical stairs that connects between the two worlds, private and public.
The private bed rooms were designed, as the main living space, to expose and blur the interior space to the outside, to the sea. Each room with his full sea view façade was design as a luxurious private suite with a full bathroom and closet space. The upper private apartment is divided to public and private cubes, a living room and library/study area on one part and a private suite on the other. The lower guest apartment has a separate kitchen and living/TV room that connects between all the guest rooms.
